The box

Ironically, after all the warm(ish) weather we have had recently, on the last day of February it is frosty. And I have just received a box through the post. How exciting!!

My seeds and other garden paraphenalia have arrived – and I want to start using them right now. Of course, even if I didn’t have other commitments which mean I can’t follow my heart just yet, most of the seeds need to wait at least a month, anyway.

Ah, such is life! What are you biting at the bit to get on with?

About Helen

I have always been interesting in living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and used to do what I could. Now, I have come to realise that we have reached such a point in terms of environmental degradation that it is more important - perhaps - to focus on building resilience. I therefore do as much as I can to reuse, grow my own and encourage a supportive community, for example. I also keep reading and learning all the time.
