Caterpillars and curtains

The other day I read an interesting article on caterpillars by a fellow blogger, A Really Small Farm. I mentioned that there were caterpillars on my dining room curtains and the suggestion was that I post a photo of them.

So here are a couple of them:

Could it be these that are munching away at the chilli plant leaves?

About Helen

I have always been interesting in living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and used to do what I could. Now, I have come to realise that we have reached such a point in terms of environmental degradation that it is more important - perhaps - to focus on building resilience. I therefore do as much as I can to reuse, grow my own and encourage a supportive community, for example. I also keep reading and learning all the time.

  1. hopefully not doing any damage to your curtains but could be doing your leaves on your chilli plant lovely post have a blessed day

  2. Jackie says:

So the thing to do would be to put the curtains over the chilli plants – like garden fleece – and the caterpillars can enjoy sitting on the curtains and your plants will be protected. Not sure what to do about the windows though – maybe hang garden fleece in them!

  3. I like Jackie’s idea! ๐Ÿ˜‰
