It was snowing on the day I was born but I don’t think I have witnessed it on this day since. In any case, it didn’t stop play today.
We did a baking class with Lovely Loaves, which meant we not only got to see countryside which was new to us (in Lincolnshire) but came home with a bag of hot cross buns, Easter biscuits and ciabatta.
Again, it was strange to be making Easter goodies when temperatures have stayed below zero all day. Fortunately, spring flowers such as daffodils seem to be bearing up, even if smothered in snow.
And the bokashi bin back at home, which is also celebrating its birthday, has more fodder from my parents. It’s still one of the best presents I bought myself, as I can use all kitchen waste to fertilise the soil.
