Of course, the heavens opened just as we arrived into our station yesterday evening.
Since then, there have been short bursts of heavy rain, which have so far only touched the surface of the soil. However, I think I will give sowing some more sweetcorn a blast. Might as well see if the succession planting works.
Also, it would be good to get sage and other herb seedlings out of the greenhouse/house, so that I can start on plants promised to a friend. Such a great feeling, being able to move forward after two months of inertia.
